Only one duration system should control a clip at a time. The interface enforces that rule so a basic duration value cannot conflict with an exact-duration value hidden inside Video Settings.

How many clips can one video create?
You can request up to 20 clips in one job. The actual number may be lower when the selected source range is too short for the active duration.
What happens when manual clip count is off?
The selected source range is split into full sequential clips using the active normal or exact duration. A very short unfinished remainder is not forced into a separate clip.
Can Clip Duration and Exact Duration run together?
No. Exact Duration mode disables and ignores the normal Clip Duration, minimum/maximum length and Jump Cut controls so only one duration rule is applied.
Which ratio should I use for YouTube Shorts?
9:16 is the usual vertical format. Use another ratio only when the source or destination requires it.
Does Smart Crop always follow the correct person?
Automation works best with one clear subject. Review the output when several people appear, the camera moves quickly or important text sits near the edge.
Are uploaded videos stored permanently?
No. The application uses temporary job storage and removes expired files according to the configured retention settings.
